Feb 22nd : CASABLANCA/ RABAT (56 miles)
While in Casablanca, you will stop at the Great Hassan II Mosque, the third largest Mosque in the world. You will visit the interior of the Mosque, before having lunch at a local restaurant , the best seafood restaurant and Mediterranean cuisine overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
You will then continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Rabat featuring the Mohammed V  Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, the outside of the Royal Palace and the Ouddaya Necropolis.
Driving Time: 1 Hour approx...

We will drive north of Rabat to visit the Exotic Gardens at Bouknadel. After we will drive through the Rif mountains towards Chefchaouen, The Blue City Of Morocco. Overnight in the Riad in the heart of the hill town.

After breakfast you will prepare yourself for the tour of the Medina of Chefchaouen. This tour will feature the old part of the hill town and a visit to
the famous Kasbah. After lunch at a local restaurant you will continue your visit to the waterfalls at Rass EL Mae where you will get a glimpse of locals going about their daily tasks. Late afternoon and evening will be free to spend at your leisure. Dinner in the Riad and overnight.

Today you will start your drive towards Fes. After making several stops to enjoy the countryside views along the way we arrive in the Imperial City of Meknes, also known as "the Moroccan Versailles". Meknes, with its monumental gates and city walls, was founded at the end of the 17th century by the Sultan Moulay Ismail. Lunch in Meknes. The highlights will include Bab el Mansour (perhaps the finest gateway in Africa), "Dar Jamai" Museum, the old Medina, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, old granaries and stables. Make our way to Fes. Check in. Dinner and overnight.

​Feb 26th: FEZ MEDINA
After breakfast, the entire day will be devoted to sightseeing the city of Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. Step back six centuries into the medieval Medina with its narrow and cobbled streets filled with ancient mosques, towering green glazed minarets and crumbling fondouks. Narrow openings into private worlds reveal architecture of peaceful courtyards filled with carved cedar, brilliantly colored mosaic tiles and delicately carved stucco ornaments. Suggested lunch will be at Palais Terrab, a beautiful Arab palace. After lunch, we will visit the Attarine and Abou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque. In the afternoon, we will visit the countless souks, the famous tanneries and Fes Jdid.
Fes is rich in medieval Jewish history, in fact, it was the home of one of the all times most influential Talmudic scholars , Rabbi Isaac Alfasi, as well as of Maimonides in the years 1160 to 1165. The visit will include the Mellah with  its Synagogues, and also a visit to the cemetery of Safroud where Rabbi Lahou Harroch and Rabbi Raphael Moshe Elbaz are buried. Return to the hotel in Fes for overnight stay.
Riad La Perle De La Medina.
​Today we will have a day trip to the neighboring town of Sefrou and the Berber village of Bhalil. Where I live. The visit will start from Sefrou,which is known for its Cherry Festival,declared as non-material Human Heritage by the UNESCO. After visiting the old cemetry in town,dating back to 6 centuries ago where Rabbi Lahou Harroch and Rabbi Raphael Moshe Elbaz are buried. We will continue to Sefrou’s medina then into the waterfalls,from where we will star tour hike to the village of Bhalil over the Agai river and mountain. You are invited for lunch at my parents home there. After lunch we will make our way to the central place of the village to visit a family in their cave dwelling and have mint tea there. Then back to Fes.

​ Feb 28th : FEZ/IFRANE/MIDELT(125 miles)
After breakfast, departure to Midelt through the scenic, wooded Middle Atlas Mountains region. Stop in Immouzzer to visit the lakes on the aok woods,Ifrane and Azrou to visit a Berber village known for its handicraft cooperative. After Lunch in Timihdit,we will drive to Midelt region. There we will make the Jaafar circuit before going to our Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Mar 1st : MIDELT/ERFOUD/MERZOUGA(170 miles)
After breakfast,we will depart toward Merzouga golden sand dunes. We will start from crossing the easterner high Atlas mountains through Tizi N Tolghomt, Passing Rich and the Ziz river through the Gorge which takes the same name. There you will be taken by the beautiful kasbahs and mud houses of the Berber people along the way. Visit Hassan Dakhil artificial lake then on to Errachidia for lunch. After we will go through the dates oasis of Tafilalt. Arriving to Erfoud to visit the Fossil places then to Rissani to visit its market before going to Merzouga.
Luxury Desert Camp Bouchedor.
Early morning wake-up to view the awe inspiring sunrise off the Merzouga dunes followed by breakfast then 1 hour camel ride. Drive through Rissani and Erfoud to Todra Gorge. After Lunch you will enjoy your hike in the gorge. Then to Dades valley where you will stay overnight.
Hotel Xaluca Dades.
After breakfast we will drive through the scenic Dades valley until we reach the Gorges and from there we will go to the Boutaghrar valley to visit the nomads in their dwellings. Lunch at Mgouna where the valley of roses is located. Later drive to Skoura then to Ouarzazate.
​ Kasbah Dar Chamaa.
Mar 4th : OUARZAZATE/ MARRAKESH (126 miles)
After breakfast, departure to the Ait Ben Haddou village where you will visit the ruins of this ancient Kasbah. Lunch at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou before we continue via the Tiz-In-Tichka pass (7,415 ft / 2,260 m) and Taddert to Marrakesh for a 4-night stay at Riad Ksar Anika. Dinner and overnight stay at Riad.

Today , you’ll explore the second oldest imperial city known as the "Pearl of the South " or “the Red City”.Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace and the Menara Garden. In the afternoon, go on an excursion to the Ourika valley, the site of the famous tomb of Rabbi Salomon Bel Hen , relax by the hotel pool . In the evening head over to the world's famous Djemaa El Fna place and enjoy this lively square (story tellers, acrobats, snake-charmers, magicians, etc.).

Sightseeing of the private gardens of Yves Saint Laurent and the private Islamic Art Museum. Drive along the city ramparts dividing the town into the oldest and the newest parts of Marrakesh. The afternoon is free to spend as you wish with your guide/driver at your disposal. Suggested dinner at Bo&Zin restaurant and overnight at the Riad.​

Sightseeing of the private gardens of Yves Saint Laurent and the private Islamic Art Museum. Drive along the city ramparts dividing the town into the oldest and the newest parts of Marrakesh. In the afternoon we will transfer to Casablanca for our overnight stay.
