Routing: HANOI - SAPA - TAM COC - HA LONG BAY

DAY 1 (29 MAR 2018): HANOI – ARRIVAL (--/--/--)
On your arrival at the Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver who will bring you to Hanoi City. Hanoi is over 1000 years old and is currently the capital of Vietnam as well the commercial, political, and cultural heart of the country.
Free at leisure. Stay the night in Hanoi.
DAY 2 (30 MAR 2018): HANOI SIGHTSEEING - NIGHT TRAIN TO LAO CAI (B/--/--)
A city tour of Hanoi starts with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside), His House on-stilts, One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature - built in October 1073 to worship Confucius and considered to be the first university in Vietnam.
After lunch time, we will then drive to Hoan Kiem Lake where you will see Ngoc Son Temple which worships Van Xuong saint and Tran Hung Dao, a former general commander. Later in the afternoon, you will get a chance to enjoy a 1-hour cyclo ride around the 36 streets in the Old Quarter of Hanoi.
At the end of the day, we will take the overnight express train from Hanoi to Lao Cai – Sapa. There is a soft bed onboard the train for you to get some sleep (1 soft berth per guest in 4-berth cabin – Seat-in-coach cabin).
DAY 3 (31 MAR 2018): LAO CAI - BAC HA (B/--/--)
You will be met at Lao Cai railway station, and taken to a local restaurant for breakfast. You will then be driven to Bac Ha Dist.. The drive offers beautiful panoramic scenery of mountains and valleys that are typical of the region.

DAY 4 (1 APR 2018): BAC HA MARKET - SAPA - HANOI(BY LIMOUSIN BUS) (B/--/--)
Today we will take you on an excursion to Bac Ha Market (held on Sunday). It is a precious opportunity for you to take photos of the colorful market before heading back to Lao Cao for the trip back to Hanoi. (5 hours appx)
Upon arrival, Spend the night in Hanoi.
DAY 5 (2 APR 2018): HANOI - TAM COC (B/--/--)
Today you will experience the ancient culture and history of Vietnam as well seeing the stunning landscape and beautiful scenery when we travel to the Ninh Binh Province. This area is known as “Ha Long Bay on land” and is located 80 km South of Hanoi.
We will go for a relaxing sampan ride through the gentle and elegant landscape of plains and mountains leading to the beautiful and mysterious Tam Coc Grottoes followed by a gentle cycle ride (4km) and boat ride to Bich Dong Cave and Pagoda. This journey takes you through breath taking scenery of rice fields and imposing mountains. We then move on to the Thai Vy Temple, built in the 13th century, the Thai Vy Temple offers magnificent insight and depth into the ancient Vietnamese culture. After having lunch at local restaurant, we then head off to Hoa Lu, formally the capital of the Dinh and early Le dynasties between the 10th and 11th centuries. We will then head back to Ha Noi where we going to see the unique and intriguing Water Puppet Show, a traditional folk performance held on the Red River Delta.

DAY 6 (3 APR 2018): HA NOI – HA LONG BAY BY SHUTTLE BUS (B/ L/ D)
7.45-8.15: Pick-up at the hotel. (Note: this time applied for those who use our shuttle bus service)
10.00: Having short break at stopover in Hai Duong Province in about 25 minutes on the way to Halong.
12.00 – 12.30: Embark on Lavender Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing and enjoy welcome-drink. Check in the cabin.
13.15: Enjoy lunch with sampling regional fresh seafood while cruising on exquisite water, passing Incense Burner Island, Fighting Cock islet, Stone Dog… Lavender Cruise will bring you to explore Ha Long Bay on the most wonderful route where just a few cruises go through.
15.00-16.30: Do kayaking through the magnificent landscape with Limestone Mountains at Luon Cave, visit Titop Island or just relaxing on the sun-deck for fantastic views at The Bay

DAY 7 (4 APR 2018): HA LONG BAY (B/L/D)
06:30: Early morning sun rise can enjoy Taichi lesson on sundeck.
07:00: Morning view of Halong bay landscape with a cup of tea or coffee and breakfast.
08:00 – 8.30: Transfer to daily boat from meeting point at Titop Island to explore Halong Bay in different sites
9.15: 10.00 : Begin to cruise to some of Halong Bay’s most untouched areas: Tortoise Islet, Man head Islet, Ho Dong Tien Cave
10.00 : Kayaking near Ho Dong Tien about 45 minutes and then back to the daily boat to relax and have lunch
14.30 : Visit Pearl Farm to witness the whole process to make a valuable pearl and expensive jewelry from the first step of growing and harvesting pearl from Halong Bay
16.20: Back to the Lavender Cruises for overnight and join sunset party
19:00: Dinner served.
21:00: Evening entertainments: play game on the cruise: cards game, chess, singing karaoke, squid fishing, and overnight on Lavender Cruise
DAY 8 (5 APR 2018): HA LONG BAY - HA NOI (B/BRUNCH/--)
06:15: Tai Chi lesson on the Sun-deck.
07:15: Have breakfast with Coffee, tea and Bakeries on board.
08:00: Visit the Surprising Cave (Hang Sung Sot) discovered by the French in 1901. Opened for tourists since 1936, now it is a must-to-see and a symbol for geology value of Halong.
09:30: Check out time. Then relax on the sun-deck or inside the restaurant to enjoy the bay’s scenery.
10h15: Enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch while cruising back to the pier.
12:00: Check out cruise. Our car will be at your disposal to pick you up then drive back to Hanoi.
16:30: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the trip!
DAY 9 (6 APR 2018): HA NOI - DEPARTURE (B/--/--)
After having breakfast, you are free at leisure till check-out (the check-out time is at noon). Take the transfer to Noi Bai Airport for the departure flight. End of service.
