Day 01: Arrival in Bangkok
Arrive Suvarnabhumi Bangkok airport, you are met and transferred to your hotel, check in and free at leisure.
The tour guide represented for ACTIVETRAVEL ASIA tour invites you for a welcome dinner of delicious Thai cuisine in a local restaurant. The first night is free your own exploration of the travel hub of South East Asia mainland.

Day 02: Bangkok – Grand Palace & City Temple Tour
Breakfast at hotel and then sightseeing tour visit to Wat Traimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, the temple is famous for its 900-years old five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image, and then continue to visit Wat Po, the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok, as well as the largest single Buddha image: also known as Wat Phra Chetuphon or The Temple of the Reclining Buddha or the birthplace of traditional Thai massages Reclining Buddha. Lunch is at a local restaurant with our guide help (expense on your own).
After that, visit one of most famous tourist places in Bangkok, Royal Grand Palace, and Emerald Buddha. The Grand Palace adjoins Wat Phra Kaew in a common compound and is where you will end up after exiting Wat Phra Kaew. Despite the proximity of the two, there's a distinct contrast in style between the very Thai Wat Phra Kaew and the more European inspired designs of the Grand Palace (the roof being the exception). And then drive to visit The Marble Temple one of the most Modern Temple as the finest example of Thai Architecture.

Day 03: Bangkok – Fly to Siem Reap (Cambodia)
After breakfast, free at leisure till time transfer to Bangkok airport for flight departure. Your guide and driver will see you off at the airport. Get ready for the flight back to Siem Reap – Cambodia.
Welcome at the airport and transfer to the charming town of Siem Reap, the relay for access to the wonders of Angkor City tour:
-the Angkor National Museum. Spread over 20,000 square meters, this site helps the traveler to understand the Khmer history, culture, and art.
-Building Schools "Artisans d'Angkor" Cambodians who formed the ancient art of stone carving, wood carving, and polychrome lacquer. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Angkor Wat - Angkor Thom
Breakfast. Visit the temple of Angkor Wat, the majestic and principal of all wonders, known as among the best reflection of the Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat, " capital of the monasteries," is also the symbol of the state. In the afternoon: visit AngkorThom temple and the South Gate with its two large huge Baray.
Temples of Bayon, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Leper King one.
Buffet dinner at local restaurant with a show of Apsara traditional Khmer dance. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Siem Reap – Grand Circuit of Angkor – Tonle Sap Lake
After breakfast, we set off for the morning ride towards the “Grand Circuit” of Angkor Wat. This road will lead past temples such as Preahkahn, NeakPean and West Mebon. The shady roads contribute to a nice experience and you will be able to “discover” some great structures from the 12th and 13th century.

In the afternoon we transfer to the lake. The Tonle Sap Lake lies in the heart of Cambodia. It’s the largest fresh water lake in South East Asia and its biodiversity put the Tonle Sap on the Ecological Wonders of the World list. Half of the Cambodian population relies on this lake. The many floating villages are spectacular to see and on this tour, you will visit ChhongKneas, one of the largest floating villages.
Transfer back to the hotel and enjoy your last night in the land of Angkor.

Day 06: Siem Reap – fly to Luang Prabang
Our tour guide and driver are at your disposal until you get ready for the onward flight to Laos – the land of Million Elephants. Arrive at Luang Prabang airport after a short flight and transfer with your guide to your hotel.
Arrive in Luang Prabang, check into the hotel, and enjoy an exploring the former royal capital & crown jewel of the ancient Lane Xang Empire (pronounced ‘lan sang’) – the Land of a Million Elephants. Shopping Night Market. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 07: Luang Prabang tour
After Breakfast, Visit Wat Visoun, the site of impressive Thad Makmo stupa. The rounded dome is 1stylistically more Sinhalese than Lao. Continue to visit Wat Mai. Built in 1796, the five-tiered roof of the wooden Sim (chapel) epitomizes the graceful Luang Prabang architectural style. Visit Wat Xieng Thong further emphasizes the uniqueness of Luang Prabang, its several roofs sweeping low to the ground. See also the impressive "tree of life" mosaic here. The gilt panel on the exterior of the chapel depicts semi-erotic episodes from the Ramayana. Climb up Phou Sii hill stands right in the center of this small city. Climb its 350 steps to enjoy commanding views for many miles in each direction. Wat Phu Sii sits atop the mountain, along side the skeletons of Indochina war anti-aircraft guns! Shopping Hmong market, where hundreds of Hmong vendors display their handmade handicraft.

Day 08: Luang Prabang – Boat Cruise – Pak Ou Buddha Cave
Enjoy your breakfast and visit the National Museum, once a king's palace. Displayed inside is a lovely collection of personal artifacts of the royal family, including photos, musical instruments, and many gifts received from the dignitaries of foreign countries. Begin a Mekong Riverboat trip with your guide on the mighty Mekong River to visit the famous & sacred Pak Ou Buddha Caves. These caves, overlooking the confluence of the Mekong & Ou Rivers from on high, have been home to many thousands of Buddha images that were placed here by local people since the 16th century when King Setthathirat found the caves and declared them a holy spot. On return, visit Por Sa Paper Handicraft & textile area at Ban Xang Khong. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 09: Luang Prabang – fly to Hanoi
Free time at your leisure until a morning, 1-hour flight to Vietnam’s capital of Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi and being greeted by our tour guide while we transfer downtown.
The rest of the day will be the time for a short city tour featuring the best sites. We will start to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum complex including Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, the Presidential palace – photo outside, One pillar pagoda. After that, we move to Van Mieu, The temple of literature. This is the first university in Vietnam where "born" a lot of talent persons for our country.
Good to remember - We can go inside Ho Chi Minh mausoleum on mornings of Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat and Sun only. The mausoleum closes from Sep to Nov for preservation. We will take photo outside from Ba Dinh square.
Get back to the old quarter to visit Ngoc Son temple that located in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy water Puppet show before our dinner time. Back to your hotel.

Day 10: Hanoi - Ha Long cruise
After breakfast, our tour starts the first highlight by departing directly to the city of Quang Ninh, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay. Upon arrival of Halong bay port; check in to your private cabin on traditional Halong bay junk. The junk sets sail while you enjoy some welcome drink and see a little of this busy seaport. The junk cruises into the bay with a short brief of cruise manager then you will have a sumptuous seafood lunch and spend the afternoon cruising past the many limestone peaks and islands that form this picturesque Halong bay of Vietnam. Relax on deck of the cruise this afternoon and overnight onboard

Day 11: Halong bay – Hanoi – fly to Sai gon
Wake early as the mist rises over the Halong bay, an ideal time to take pictures. Enjoy breakfast and continue your Halong cruise trip, after the brunch then clear bill while returning to shore. Our vehicle picks you up at the Halong port then transfer directly to the airport for a late afternoon flight to Sai gon – the commercial hub of Vietnam.
Arrive in Sai gon after 02-hour flight, our Vietnam tour guide collects you for a transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is free and easy.

Day 12: Cu chi tour by JEEP – night tour
Cu chi tunnel is a well-known place to show an important part of Vietnam wars. Today, we are going to visit the place – once called “Iron land” thanks to its incredible survival in the middle of gunshots with special vehicles – JEEPs.
08.30AM, we drive out of the city to Cu Chi for about 1.5 hours. We are going to spend some hours here in order to explore its underground levels. You will understand and admire how a whole village could carry on their livings right in the center of the most brutal battlefields.
12.30 – 01.00PM Our guide will help you find a good lunch at a local restaurant before transferring back to the city.
We will take a very special tour tonight to get acquainted with the city – Sai Gon by night tour on Scooter.
06.00PM this tour, a joined group tour, starts and it’s very special when you are a pillion on a scooter driven by good-at-English, knowledgeable and lovely young ladies. This is definitely the most highlight of this day. The tour ends around 09.00PM.
Interesting notes to know- All scooter drivers are female and they will wear "Ao Dai" - Vietnamese traditional dresses. They are good at English and will be your tour guide too for this 3 hours.

Day 13: Mekong trip – Sai gon city tour
AM and get off the Highway 1 at Tan An town and head to Tam Vu and Cho Gao then My Tho (85km). Some en-rout stops let you see farmers working at paddy fields. A short boat ride to cross the upper Mekong to Ben Tre then being transferred to small sampans to get through some green, lush, picturesque and Amazon-like creeks. Call on some local families to see how they make coconut candies by hands. Lunch will be served at a local’s orchard.
After lunch, we drive to back to Sai gon and spend some hours city tour featuring Independence palace, War Remnant museum and a short walk into Ben Thanh market. Get back to the hotel and relax.
